Savory Food Stations for Late Night Wedding Cravings

Weddings last for hours and are filled with lots of socializing, dancing, and drinking. It is very natural to have a tiny or big energy crash towards the end of the night. You’re sleepy but you obviously don’t want to leave yet, you’re having so much fun! That’s where late-night food comes in. Feeling tired but the party isn’t over? Jump on over to the evening food stations where you can find the perfect savory snack to keep you awake. You have at least three more dances in you, so have a burger, or a taco and get back to the celebration!

CHICKEN TENDERS & FRIES STATION

Talk about a fan favorite! This easy to dip snack will have adults and kids alike excited. Breaded chicken and salty fries with creamy dipping sauces basically make for an adult happy meal! Complete the meal with a Pepsi, Cola, or…beer (for us adults out there) and enjoy the delicious and nostalgic meal of chicken tendies and fries.

TACO & QUESADILLAS BAR

It’s difficult to not like cheese, carbs, and tacos. Quesadillas and taco stations are easy, greasy, and delicious! This late-night snack can also be customized. Cheese and chicken, cheese and beef, cheese, and more cheese? Toppings galore? It can be done! Don’t get me started on all the salsa choices…YUM.

GRILLED CHEESE & TOMATO SOUP STATION

When I think about comfort food, my mind makes a beeline to grilled cheese and tomato soup. The bread, the cheese, and the warm tomato liquid make for a perfect meal. The combination of dipping the sandwich in the soup is heaven for the taste buds. It is a perfect late-night snack to soak up all the well-deserved champagne.

KABOB SKEWERS STAND

Another snack on a stick! Really though, it is so convenient when you’re at a wedding where you’re constantly moving. It’s nice to eat but be able to carry it around. I also love that this late-night food is on the healthier side, and it too is very customizable. Veggies galore, meat galore, or both? You can have it however you want.

SHAWARMA STAND

Well marinated and slow-roasted meat bursting with flavor is already a selling point. However, when you combine that with a pita pocket, tahini, and fresh veggie toppings, I am sold. No negotiations, I am ready to eat. Shawarma is another healthier option on this list as well. You can choose from chicken, lamb, beef, veal, and turkey. There are also multiple topping and sauce choices making for a well-rounded meal.

FAST FOOD TRUCK OR STATION

We all have guilty pleasures and for a few of us, that is fast food. Okay, more than a few. Fast food is delicious. Not the healthiest but who cares when you’ve been celebrating love for hours with your friends and family. This is a night to indulge and be happy. Order that Chic Filet or In-N-Out. A fast-food truck or delivery will have your guests obsessed with you.

PIZZA STATION

Pizza always works! Especially late at night. You can order it in many different styles, so whether you’re a meat lover, cheese lover, or veggies lover, there is sure to be a pizza that can fit your guest's needs. Many vendors also have vegan cheese and gluten-free bread choices. Yay, no hungry tummies here!

FRENCH FRIES, PRETZELS & CORN DOGS STAND

Talk about a grab n go kind of food. These carnival-themed treats are a total crowd-pleaser. Fries, pretzels, and corn dogs are simple and easy to eat. The fries will be the perfect salty snack and the pretzel or corn dog on a stick can easily be moved to the dance floor, if you’re hungry but also can’t resist dancing. We get that!

BURGER & SLIDERS STATION

Who doesn’t love a good burger? Much like pizza, burgers and sliders are highly customizable. If you’re looking for a meal, a burger will fulfill that need and if you just want something small but similar, a slider is the perfect mini version.

BAKED POTATO BAR

Potatoes, the chameleon of foods. I love fries, hash browns, and chips as much as the next potato thrilled girl, but sometimes you just need a good old-fashioned baked potato. The toppings seem endless, which is the best part. Bacon, sour cream, chives, butter, and chili are just a few that I can think of. Baked potatoes are a creative and savory treat that the whole family can enjoy.

ASIAN TAKEOUT STATION

Mini take-out boxes of your favorite Asian cuisine, how cute is that? Indulge in your favorites like lo mein and orange chicken (chopsticks included). Too full to eat it all? No worries, it’ll already be in a classic to-go box so you can take it home and save it for later.

BACON-WRAPPED BAR

You can throw bacon around pretty much any food these days and it’ll be delicious. Therefore, a bacon-wrapped bar is so fun. You can get fancy with a bacon-wrapped filet, keep it simple with a bacon-wrapped hot dog or if veggies are more your thing, I’ve seen bacon-wrapped asparagus! Much like the kabob stand, you can also combine ingredients. It is a truly fun and yummy experience that your guests will love.

MAC AND CHEESE BAR

Find me a cloud because I am in heaven! Mac and cheese anything will always be popular. Like grilled cheese, it’s another comfort food. Mac and cheese can be served pre-scooped in tiny bowls OR, they can be deep-fried into little cheese balls. Either way, this savory snack is sure to lure all the late-night wedding attendees in.

SEAFOOD & SHRIMP BAR

A seafood and shrimp bar is great during the day but it’s even better late at night. If you’re a big fan of Cajun food, this bar will not disappoint. This is a little on the fancier side but oh so good! Mini lobster tails with garlic oil dipping sauce, shrimp cocktails, fried calamari fritters, and a nice aioli…these foods practically scream savory.

CHARCUTERIE BAR

Many will say that a charcuterie board is the ultimate late-night snack. It’s a dreamy combination of cheese, fruits, jams, meats, olives, bread and for us 21+, a wonderful addition to the copious amount of wine served at weddings.
